The Leopard team is very proud to announce that the brand new 53 Powercat has won the Multihull of the year! It was an event for celebration for our teams worldwide to receive this award. Although, we did not get to attend the Multihull boat show at La Grande Motte this year, we were ecstatic to receive the award virtually via Youtube. An Award-Winning Yacht
The Leopard 53 PC, displayed for the first time at the Miami Boat Shows in February 2020, is a breathtaking powercat with a smooth cruise. Included in the Leopard 53 PC is a modern and spacious interior, as well as plenty of outdoor entertaining space. Combined with the smart and economical advantages of the catamaran design, she is up to 50% more fuel efficient than her monohull motoyacht counterparts. The design maintains the hulls’ narrow entry at the bows, with big-volume stepped hulls above the waterline creating large interior spaces down below. And if this yacht doesn't sound spectacular enough, I had the distinct opportunity got to experience her radiance firsthand.
Experiencing the Yacht First-Hand
After attending my very first Miami Boat Show in the early months of 2020, I was given the opportunity to cruise the Bahamas in a brand-new Leopard 53 Powercat. And I was completely in awe! After admiring her on the dock at the boat at the show all week, I quickly discovered she was more than just a pretty face. Our journey set out on a day of rough waters and I am prone to getting seasick (something I’ve recently learned about myself as I have been on more yachts this year than I have in my entire life). Although I was a bit nervous, the excitement of cruising on a 53 motoryacht seemed to distract me from my anxiety. The waters crashed heavily, and the seas were not following, but the 53 PC made our journey across the Gulf smoother than anything I’ve ever experienced! The Powercat cut right through each wave and I did't experience any discomfort from the flybridge, which made me love her even more! The comfort inside was delightful, enough for me to enjoy a lovely night of sleep in my own luxurious "VIP" cabin with en suite head. Six additional people accompanied that trip, and we all had our own comfortable spaces. I would easily choose the Leopard 53 PC for another trip any day, just say the word!

It was truly a great opportunity to cruise on a Leopard 53 PC, and I can confidently agree with the award it received as Multihull of the Year!
